This policy explains what personal data I collect on solimanshady.com, why I collect it, and how I keep it safe. I'm based in Italy, so this policy is written to align with the EU GDPR.
Who I am
This site is operated by Shady Soliman ("I", "me"), an independent consultant based in Italy. Contact: info@solimanshady.com. Soliman Shady — P.IVA 04928290164.
What data I collect
I collect only what you give me through the two forms on this site: • Free guide signup: your first name and email address. • Work-with-me / booking form: your name, email, optional company or project name, optional budget range, and the note describing what you're building. I also keep a timestamp of your submission and the source of the lead (free guide or booking). I do not use tracking pixels or advertising cookies.
Why I collect it (legal basis)
• Free guide: to send you the guide you requested and a short confirmation email (consent — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). • Booking form: to reply to your inquiry and, where relevant, prepare a proposal (pre-contractual steps at your request — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@solimanshady.com.
How it's stored
Submissions are stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database with access controls and encryption at rest. Emails are sent via a transactional email provider. I access this data from within the EU.
Sharing
I do not sell your data. I do not share it with advertisers. It is only processed by the infrastructure providers strictly needed to run this site (hosting, database, email delivery), all acting as processors on my behalf.
Retention
Free-guide signups are kept for up to 24 months so I can send occasional relevant updates. Booking submissions are kept for up to 24 months to maintain a record of the conversation. You can ask me to delete your data sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email info@solimanshady.com — I'll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Italy: Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali).
Cookies
This site uses essential cookies needed for it to work (e.g. remembering your language). With your consent, it also loads Google Analytics, which may set cookies to help me understand overall site traffic. You can accept or decline via the cookie banner shown on your first visit, and no analytics cookies are set until you accept.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
